A Berry Scary Night is the twenty-first episode of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. It aired October 5, 2013

Episode Plot[]

"Once every 100 Halloweens, the two moons of PacWorld[sic] turn blue, so Betrayus summons the sinister Count Pacula to drain the last Yellow Orb in PacWorld - namely Pac-Man!"

Dr. Buttocks, Butt-ler and Betrayus are looking for Count Pacula and open his tomb to tell him to suck the life out of Pac.

Spiral, Pac and Cylindria are all preparing their costumes for the big Halloween party to which, Pac exclaims that he loves Halloween for not only for the food but for the fact he is not the sole yellow Pac-Worlder due to various people trying to dress up as him as they are unable to to enter due to Pac's gluttonous nature and expertise with mazes as Skeebo fails to scare them and Spiral in return scares him. Pac reads up that Vampacs might actually exist after all much to Cyli's worry.

In the Netherworld, Betrayus (in clown make up) then announces his plan to send his ghosts out into the Halloween party thinking their spectral bodies will allow them to flawlessly camouflage with the Pac-Worlders as and showing Pacula a photo of Pac to see who he must target before Betrayus opens up a portal for a bunch of ghosts and Pacula to enter Pac-World. Pinky wants to warn Pac about Count Pacula but Inky and Blinky want to scare and steal candy from Pac-Worlders instead which fails as Pac is still left behind with the actual Count Pacula who confuses him as Skeebo and compliments the Vampac. Inky is annoyed with how easily scared the Pac-Worlders are and he alongside the rest of his siblings go off chasing them with spiders to give them a good scare and steal all of their candy. Pacula starts his hunt for Pac but is stopped by Cyli who also confuses him for Skeebo and kicks him into a bush as the actual Skeebo scares Pacula and shoves him into a bush which angers him and causes him to promptly hypnotize Skeebo into thinking he's his monkey servant so they can both hunt for Pac. Sir Cumference then notices the blue moons and tries to call Pac, only realizing that the transmitter was left behind and falls off of Grinder. Pac is in the maze and is disappointed when he gets no candy but decides to turn himself into Ice Pac to fly around and eat the ghosts before he gets face to face with the actual Pacula who don't recognize each other before Pac goes him to find gray monster make up again. Vampac chomps on a Pac-Worlder after confusing him for Pac so Betrayus angrily orders Dr. Buttocks and Butt-ler to hunt for the actual one.

Pac is disappointed in how crummy the Halloween is playing out with no candy and costume so he decides to turn himself into Titanium Pac to serve as a substitute and heads off to hunt some more ghosts (while leaving the transmitter behind again), he shows up and begins to eat them with his magnet tongue where a bunch of kids then thank him for his heroism which causes Pacula to try to look through the maze alongside Dr. Buttocks and Butt-ler who accidentally assist Spiral and argue with each other before the actual Pacula ends up hypnotizing Spiral to do a goofy dance, Dr. Buttocks berates him for slacking off but he also gets hypnotized and via persuasion of Butt-ler to swim around like a pig and sniff out Pac as Pacula orders Spiral to destroy Pac which Sir C catches wind of the army and needs to deliver a garlic power berry to Pac before it is too late. Cyli then comes across a hypnotized Skeebo and Spiral who chant about destroying Pac until the actual Count Pacula shows up yet again only for Cyli to still think she is Skeebo before he hypnotizes her as well as the rest of the people in the maze as he frustratedly commands everyone in his army to find Pac. Sir C and Grinder crash land near the party and find many people dressed up as Pac and the costumed doppelgangers thinking the actual Pac is someone in a bad costume before Clyde splits himself in half and scares off all of the fakers. The Ghost Gang warn Pac about Pacula but he still thinks they are joking until he sees the zombified army before his eyes as Pacula then hypnotizes Pinky and Sir C which prompts Pac to turn into Chameleon Pac to use his night vision goggles to prevent hypnosis and flies around Pacopolis and slams Pacula down only for the berry to wear off and have Grinder save and feed Pac the garlic berry which lets him fly again and burp out a jack-o-garlic-lantern to chase and weaken Pacula with their belches. Just as Pacula is about to enter his tombstone, Pac and the garlic-lantern chase him back to the portal and burps him back into his prison.

The hypnosis wears off and Sir C there is no need to fear about Pacula coming back as the moons return to normal as Pac finally gets rewarded the candy he wanted for so long. The episode then ends with Betrayus annoyingly watching Dr. Buttocks still acting like a pig while Butt-ler enjoys it.
