Aegina (アイギーナ Aigīna) is a character in Shadow Labyrinth and a recurring character in the United Galaxy Space Force (UGSF) universe. She is an android originally created to serve in the Root Unit.[1]

Aegina would eventually fulfill her purpose, joining the Root Unit under the division "Type Yellow".[2] One day, however, while partaking in an experiment involving a Dimension-Warp Drive, an accident occurred that left Aegina stranded on an unknown planet.[3]

She would successfully return from said planet, but, concerned for her own safety, she stepped down from her position at the UGSF and became a member of Baglus, a secret organization dedicated to fighting the malevolent supercomputer Gamp.[4]

Aegina has a twin sister named Thebe.
