"All You Can Eat" is the fifth episode of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. It premiered on June 21st, 2013.
Plot[]
The episode opens as Pac, Spiral, and Cylindria are containing a ghost invasion, with the latter two gawking at the amount of ghosts the former can eat. After the invasion is repelled, Pac's body begins moving uncontrollably. Cylindria fears that the Yellow One has reached his limit, but it turns out he just needed to burp. The trio then heads to the school cafeteria for lunch.
Meanwhile, in the Netherworld, Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde try to order food from Ogle's stand but are interrupted when Betrayus sends two Guardian Ghosts to summon them. Angered at the sight of yet another failed invasion, Betrayus accuses Butt-ler of being a spy. He then goes to his throne room to view his Slug Cam's live feed, which shows Pac and Spiral engaging in an eating contest. Pac is soon scolded by the lunch lady when he is caught eating food straight from the food-serving counter. He is then banned from entering the cafeteria. Having seen all this, Betrayus concludes that food is the key to defeating Pac; thus, he orders the Ghost Gang to feed Pac until he becomes too full to eat anything else. At first, the four ghosts, particularly Clyde, are reluctant to go along with Betrayus' plan, but they quickly convince themselves that giving Pac something he loves wouldn't harm him. Blinky then comes up with the idea to deliver the food secretly to keep Pac from getting suspicious. Content with their plan, the Ghost Gang heads to the surface.
Cylindria catches up with her two friends and asks them to go hoverboarding with her, but they, intent on finding more food, refuse. Cylindria follows Pac and Spiral until they suddenly find a large amount of food out in the open. Despite Cylindria warning them that it would be wrong to eat someone else's food, Pac and Spiral chow down anyways. Unbeknownst to all three teens, the seemingly abandoned picnic was actually set up by the Ghost Gang specifically for Pac. Upon seeing his plan working, an excited Betrayus gathers his ghostly army at his castle in preparation for another invasion. After the surprise feast, Cylindria, realizing her friends are still hungry, decides to leave but not before accidentally stepping in a suspicious patch of pink slime. Later that evening, the Ghost Gang deliver a copious amount of pizzas to Pac's dorm under the guise of a complementary service. Pac and Spiral unquestioningly accept the pizzas and use them to continue their eating contest, but it only makes Cylindria even more suspicious. Cylindria tries to reason with her friends, even pointing out that one of the boxes has orange slime on it, but they are simply too focused on eating to notice. Meanwhile, Betrayus has grown impatient waiting for Pac to get full, a state that is not helped by the fact that his army is also getting bored.
The next day, a newscast is aired covering the recent food shortage that has swept PacWorld. Upon seeing the broadcast, a concerned Cylindria goes to Pac to try to get through to him one last last; when that fails, she reports her friend's activity to President Spheros. Spheros, along with Cylindria and several feds, confront Pac in the park. The president limits Pac to only three meals per day and warns him that exceeding said limit will result in imprisonment. Betrayus is furious upon hearing news that his plan failed. The Ghost Gang are about to leave when Clyde unwittingly brings up the possibility of using food from the Netherworld. Unfortunately for them, Betrayus likes the idea and orders them to continue with the scheme. The four ghosts comply, stealing Fluffy's food bowl and seasoning its contents to make them more palatable.
Meanwhile, Pac is struggling to accommodate to the new restrictions, not least with Skeebo teasing him over it. Although Cylindria and Spiral try to comfort him, Pac is too distraught and decides to retreat into the maze. Suddenly, Pac runs into Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde, who present him with the food bowl disguised as a birthday cake. Pac is reluctant to accept their gift, but once Pinky convinces him that the President's ban didn't cover Netherworld food, he decides to give in. To the Ghost Gang's surprise, Pac finds the food appetizing and asks for more. The Ghost Gang continues stealing food from the Netherworld, to the point that it also runs out of food, and feeding it to Pac. Eventually, Spiral and Cylindria call Pac to see if he is alright. Even though Pac says he is okay, his response is suspicious enough to prompt the two teens to investigate. When they arrive at the maze, they catch the Ghost Gang red-handed. The four ghosts admit that they were following orders, but Blinky manages to clear the air by emphasizing how ridiculous the plan was. They all laugh it off until Pac lets out a pained groan, indicating that he really is full. Betrayus, watching his plan actually succeed, gleefully commences the invasion.
As the invasion starts, President Spheros lifts Pac's eating restriction and calls the yellow to apologize. Meanwhile, she, Spiral, and the Ghost Gang try to Pac to eat again. They try feeding him a Power Berry and giving him a drink, but neither attempt works. Eventually, however, Clyde manages to return Pac to normal by burping him. With his hunger restored, Pac manages to completely repel the attack. Betrayus becomes enraged at his sudden defeat. He is then attacked by Fluffy, who has not been fed all day. Pac apologizes to Cylindria for not believing her and decides to make it up to her and Spiral by inviting them to get something to eat.
