Haunting Loop is an original fan-made song inspired by the Pac-Man franchise. It was created by BryanJo, with contributions from TentaBeat, JamsDX, MissLuca, and Finespunparty. The song was released exclusively on YouTube.
The song was created by BryanJo, who developed the original idea, wrote most of the lyrics, and designed the cover art, with some writing assistance from SaffRox7650. The music was primarily composed by TentaBeat, while the guitar solo at the end was performed by Finespunparty. Vocals were provided by JamsDX, one of the creators of the Funkadelix mod for Friday Night Funkin’. The third chorus was sung by YouTuber MissLuca.

More reasons as to why Ghostly Adventures inherently does not work on a conceptual level as someone who had to write a bunch of plot stuff for it
What a mess of a series I've had to watch through in order to make some of these pages not barren and as a big time Pac-Man fan I'm baffled at not only how bad this show is when I watched it but the fact that people had to pay premium cable in order to do so on the glorified rodent death trap for all unpopular mouse shows or animes in a limbo. I wasn't expecting much to begin with since I quite frankly hated the mere existence of the show from the get go but watching all of those episodes have made me loathe it even more with this excuse of a reboot being so derivative off of much more successful animes or franchises with its gimmicks without doing anything unique. The power berries and Pac-Man's various forms? Basically just Kirby's copy …
Pac's and Moving

Last year I laid my eyes on the glorious unofficial Pac-Man themed moving company in Florida. Still baffled it even exists.
Some of the social media for this thing has removed the Pac-Man branding but some of it came back recently.

I accidentally submitted the revision too early, sorry for the inconvenience
How I get my Ghostly Adventures images.
In case anyone wonders how I get the images, I just use the screenshot function from the Youtube Enhancer extension to get it as clear and accurate as possible. Its on all major web browsers and fairly easy to install so you can get easy access to the crisp frames of TGA's official uploads that way.
As I do not have access to official rereleases of the HB cartoon, I am unfortunately unable to supply screenshots for the episodes.
Concept vs. Character
I don't think you need me to tell you why the newly-released "Secret Level" series is the most illogical, incomprehensible piece of Pac-Man media ever conceived. I mean, just look at it. It both speaks for itself and leaves you at a loss for words. Regardless of how you view it, you'll probably conclude that it has virtually nothing to do with Pac-Man; outside of featuring a microscopic yellow sphere, and having a plot that very vaguely resembles the original arcade game.
Unsurprisingly, the general public's reception to Secret Level (at least for the Pac-Man episode) is largely negative. Who would've thought that going on record to say you wanted to "disembowel people's childhoods" with your officially-licensed gorefest would lead to backl…
As the World Burns, Pac-Man's NFTs Return
Long, long ago, in the distant year of 2021, there was a pitiful industry known as the "NFT" market. NFTs, for the blissfully unaware, are literal .jpg files that would be sold at auction online; often being listed for millions of dollars in Bitcoin, and usually selling for around $0.02 at maximum. The entire industry would largely dry up as the years went on, especially in commercialized popularity; alongside similar markets, such as the so-called "Metaverse".
Bandai Namco, being the fad followers they are, would attempt to cash in on the NFT market at its height. A "Genies X Pac-Man" NFT set was released in May of 2021; featuring utterly grotesque designs such as Pac-Man's head on a human body and shoes with coin slots. However, there was…
Re: Vandalism
Recently, there has been a large wave of vandalism on the Pac-Man Wiki, which appears to stem from a series of tweets showing renamed Pac-Man Wiki articles. The vandalism is becoming increasingly perverted and immature, and it is wholly unacceptable. Thank you. Ireallydontcare123456789 (talk) 16:46, 15 November 2024 (UTC)Ireallydontcare123456789
Notice regarding anonymous wiki editing
Recently on the Pac-Man Wiki, there has been an influx of "troll edits" using anonymous IP addresses to vandalize wiki pages. I assume this is probably one person using some sort of IP address tricker or something, though it is becoming a hassle regardless. Until this issue can be resolved, anonymous IP editing has been disabled; you must use a FANDOM/Pac-Man Wiki account to edit pages. I know there are many genuine contributions to the wiki from anonymous sources, so hopefully this matter will be temporary. I may contact FANDOM directly to discuss the issue further. Two Years Past the Fortieth - and the Pac is Back
Both last year and the year before, I wrote summaries on both Pac-Man's 40th and 41st anniversary dates; explaining my personal opinions regarding the series, and the considerable disappointment that lies within. We're now two weeks shy of the 42nd anniversary, and I wasn't planning to make a post for the occasion or anything. However, a bizarre recent event, entirely out of left-field, has caused me to reconsider; so as was tradition, let's do a recap of Pac-Man's forty-second (...ish) celebration.
In my over-dramatic prior posts, I always asserted that creativity was the key to Pac-Man's success. I could discern that solely marketing off of the original arcade game - nothing more, nothing less - would get Pac-Man nowhere. At least some form …
People, Ghosts and Animals
I did draw them in Pac-Man. PacPeople are named Liane, Pria, Kraig, Janet and Odgar. Ghosts are named Elizha, Brenna, Noah, Matilda and Geonard. I was drawing Liane's dog and cat. I was drawing Elizha's dragon. The dog and cat are an animals. The dragon is a creature.
Marketing to the Pac-Posers
Recently, Bandai Namco got caught up in some advertising controversy...of which, I somehow completely missed, but was able to get the general recap of after the fact. Basically, Namco was hyping up a secret Pac-Man announcement, with a three-day countdown leading up to it. Pac-Man and the Ghosts had unveiled the numbers, over a 72 hour span.
3...2...1...disappointment.
The announcement ended up being some livestream event for Pac-Man 99. Featuring four people I have literally never heard of, accompanied by embarrassing stock sound effects of children cheering. It's not an update for the game itself or anything; not even a cheap DLC pack. Just a lame livestream, where you can watch people eccentrically pretend to enjoy the game.
Naturally, the peop…
Pac-Man character rights
Okay, so the more I think about the rights to the Pac-Man characters, the more confused I get.
Who owns what?
I used to think all the Midway characters had copyright issues, but because the major ones besides Ms. Pac-Man appear in Minecraft, does that mean Bandai Namco owns them? Is it just Ms. Pac-Man who have these rights issues?
What about Sue and Tim, who fairly recently appeared in 256 and Sandbox Evolution? Are those just such generic names that they're able to get away with that?
What about the Hanna-Barbara cast? The only character from the HB cartoons to appear in games is Chomp-Chomp, (along with a couple of unnamed cameos from Sour Puss.) Is Chomp-Chomp owned by Hanna-Barbara or by Bandai Namco?
This shit's too confusing.
The Year Following the Fortieth - and Some People Care
Last year, I had what could only be described as a Pac-mental breakdown. I was very annoyed by the initial wave of Pac-Man's 40th anniversary announcements. A certain group of Pac-manchildren didn't help matters; and led to this wiki becoming a source of stress for me, as opposed to the fun project it once was. As time has gone on, however, I've gotten over things. My opinions haven't necessarily changed, but I've learned to not let petty Pac-Man nonsense affect me like it once did.
But anyways, back to the fortieth. Aside from some really lame merch, the headline game announcement was "Pac-Man Live Studio" - a game where you could build your own Pac-Man mazes. Something that...has been done countless times beforehand. I mean, one of the thir…
The Truth about Pac-Mania's NES port
Since that Namcot Collection is out in Japan and Namco Museum Archives overseas, here is one game not included in the compilation library.
Pac-Mania
Released to the Arcades in 1987 and ported to the NES in 1990, the main reason why it is NOT in the compilations is because it was originally by Tengen and not Namcot. This shows that Namcot really missed a title to port.
What is infuriating that it was NOT Licensed by Nintendo and Namco didn't even re-release the game unlike how they did to Pac-Man in 1993. There wasn't even a Super NES port of the game either.
After the Nintendo Switch came out in 2017, there was a Plug 'n' Play by AtGames titled the "Bandai Namco Flashback Blast" which included 8 NES ports of Namco's Arcade Games. One of them b…
The Fall of The Last Namco
March 31st, 2021, was the last day of Namco USA's operation. Covid hit the gaming industry hard, arcades even moreso. In Namco's case, to the tune of 13 billion yen, or about $120 million USD. Even with such an incredible pioneer of the medium, Namco simply could not last through the pandemic. Many of you likely haven't even heard this news. It's being buried, intentionally so. But no, this isn't a late April Fool's joke; Namco has officially shut down, and the company no longer exists.
...Now, let me clarify here. There are still technically "Namcos" out there; but those are all Bandai Namcos. Not that classy, red lowercase Namco; the ones remaining are the nasty, ketchup-mustard smear Namcos. The Namco which just closed was the final remaini…

Super Pac-Man's Super Secrets: Licensing Fiasco 3
A few days ago, I found a place I could access some Namco-AtGames legal documents that I hadn't been able to see before. Namely, AtGames' files of "photo evidence" of Namco's supposed wrongdoings, which AtGames keeps separate from their main documents for...whatever reason.
As expected, AtGames' files are, for the most part, incredibly stupid and worthless. One of them is literally just screenshots of negative reviews of Pac-Man toys on Amazon. What does that even prove, let alone show? Conveniently, AtGames' products are left out of the document, which all have FAR more negative press. But the more interesting thing here is a document of e-mail exchanges between Bandai Namco and AtGames, detailing the development of the god-awful Bandai Namco…
The Truly Virtual Reality of the No Context Cult
Namcokid, Namcokid, Namcokid. The one of the 47th variety. A man who's level of butthurt knows no bounds. We've talked about him here before, on several occasions. He was banned here in 2018 - alongside three additional spam accounts he made, in fact - and has never gotten over it since then. He eventually gave up and made his own Pac-Man wiki, with terrible writing that drags on and on, and only has pages on the most basic subjects. And most recently...he convinced hundreds of people that I stole credit card information and home addresses through a scam website selling a rare Pac-Man game.
I already made a blogpost discussing this subject; it was since deleted by wiki council (not my doing). The subject of it was a certain "R.S.", with a tiny …

No Context Pac and his Army of Ass-Lickers
Running this wiki has been an...interesting experience for me. For those who don't know, I only gained adminship here around October of 2018; it switched off between various other owners beforehand, all of which abandoned ship before I even knew about Wikia (or as they're known now, FANDOM). I've tried to make this wiki last - working on it through some stressful times, and continuing to maintain it even though I've lost virtually all interest in Pac-Man by now. But at this point, I'm just about ready to give up - and a large group of people are flat-out begging me to.
Let me introduce you to No Context Pac-Man. A Twitter account created around the same time as I started running the Pac-Man Wiki. As the name implies, it posted Pac-Crap without …
It's Pac-Man's 40th, and No One Cares
May 22nd, 1980. The day the first Pac-Man arcade machine was placed in a Japanese arcade. Namco employees creepily crowded around the machine, watching others play it. With peoples' ecstatic reactions, Namco knew they had a hit on their hands. Pac-Man became a worldwide phenomenon, and is still the #1 most popular arcade game of all time. Its been 40 years since that fateful day. And guess what?
Nobody gives a single shit.
People cared during his 20th. His 25th. There was still plenty of interest in his 30th and 35th. But entering his 40th anniversary, all interest in Pac-Man has completely faded away. The newest generation of children have no idea what a Pac-Man is. Pac-Man's only remaining audience is a small subset of grown men in their 4…

Pac-Man Licensing Fiasco 2: The New Adventures
Note: Much of the information in this post has been deemed outdated. While I am leaving the article up as an opinion piece, a more up-to-date and less opinionated analysis can be viewed on the page History of Ms. Pac-Man legal issues. The original article begins below.
In a previous blogpost - The 2006 Pac-Man Licensing Fiasco - I talked about how the rights to Ms. Pac-Man were turned over to General Computer Corporation in 2006, and Namco had to pay G.C.C. every time they used the character or any of her games. Believe it or not, that contract was supposed to end just a few days ago. Namco was about to get the Ms. Pac rights back permanently, without copyright issues getting in the way.
And that all came crumbling down, from a company every …
Epoch.
One thing I've looked into considerably while running this wiki are the handheld LCD games produced in the early 1980s. There are tons of bizarre Pac-Man variants released as proprietary handhelds, some of which could even be considered entirely unique games (most notably PacMan2). But one company has led me to endless confusion with their handhelds, to the point where I don't even want to make more pages for them...Epoch.
Epoch is best known for the Epoch Cassette Vision, which was the first successful game system in Japan. It isn't a handheld LCD thing - its an entire game console similar to the Atari 2600, but running on cassette tapes instead of cartridges. Atari, Intellivision, etc. were never popular in Japan, but the Cassette Vision …
The 2006 Pac-Man Licensing Fiasco
Note: Much of the information in this post has been deemed outdated (with one prior retraction having actually been correct, while the 2020 "correction" was wrong). While I am leaving the article up as an opinion piece, a more up-to-date and less opinionated analysis can be viewed on the page History of Ms. Pac-Man legal issues. The original article begins below.
On a lot of pages on this wiki, I've added information about how the Pac-Man rights got completely messed up around 2006. I'm sure this has confused a lot of people, and there is no easily-accessible information on it, as it was pretty much (intentionally?) buried. I decided to make this blogpost to summarize what the hell happened, to the best of my knowledge. Some details may be i…

I am considering changing the format for the templates on Category:Games pages to a newer one. This would make them easier to edit and keep up-to-date, along with fixing some small issues. Does anyone oppose this?
Comparison is below.
Why I blocked "Pakkuman47" / "Namcokid47" / "SuperSpoopyMan"
In case Wikia staff is concerned about the blocking of user "PakkuMan47" for approximately 900 years:
This person has harassed me since 2014 on an old Deviantart account I had. He acts like he doesn't recognize me every time, which would make sense as I have gone under several names over the years, but I don't see why he would mess with me specifically otherwise (I'm the only person he ever "attacks").
He has been particularly critical of my artwork, and keeps deleting things from pages after I've repeatedly told him not to, while barely making any actual contributions. He went as far as changing things to be incorrectly named (ex: renaming Miru page "Mil", then proceeding to change every category it appears in to the same, including admin-o…
Planning on Becoming Admin
I am currently trying to become the admininstrator of this wiki (due to there still being some active users, I have to state this publicly). If i can sucessfully get the administrative rights, I will be able to fix up the wiki as much as possible. This would include altering pages to be more up-to-date, the removal of troll pages, improved formatting, and possibly nicer wallpapers/artwork (not sure if I'm given the ability to do that or not), among other things. There have not been any admins at all in two years, and lots of garbage has built up since then, so a new one is necessary. If anyone has more questions please let me know.

What needs to be done?
Hi guys,
So I have recently started reading through this wiki. I absolutely love pacman and have always used this website as a starting source for any information on the yellow man.
I was just wondering what needs to be done on this wiki. How and where people can help out.
From my initial perspective I would say that the Wiki needs a good clean up to start with. Different pages I have gone to are empty, only classed as stubs and or are linked to too many categories
Namco Museum finally finished
I finally finished the Namco Museum series. I started from Volume one all the way to encore. Its available to check out.
Dear People who have collected all the cards in Pac-Pix,

Pac Man TV Series Question
Dear Readers,
There is something I would like to know about the Pac Man TV series, the one from the 1980s that was on Cartoon Network in the mid 1990s, and I'm sure this is the same series.
In one episode, there was a railroad crossing, or so my sister told me as she was watching Pac Man, only I missed it and I never saw it and have been trying to. I mean I saw the episode but missed the part with the railroad crossing in it. My sister told me it had a crossing gate, which she also said got ran over.
First, is there really an episode with a railroad crossing in it? And if so, which episode was it (what's the title of the episode)? I was informed about this in 1997, back when I was in 5th grade but never saw the episode again after that.
This w…
Sign petition to create Pac-Man World 4
Trying to get as many signatures as possible to petition Bandai Namco Holdings Inc. to create a "Pac-Man World 4" using the characters (and character design) from the previous installments of the series! With any luck it will not only undo the horrors of the recently released TV show and game both titled "Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures", but complete a dream I have had since I was a child that maybe some other people on this wiki can sympathize with. I figured if anyone cared enough to sign it would be those on this wiki! LET'S MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!
