Bride of Grinder (alternatively known as "The Bride of Grinder") is the seventeenth episode of Season 2 of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. It aired on May 21, 2015.
Episode Plot[]
"Grinder's attempts to build a mechanical mate go horribly haywire when the diabolical Doctor Buttocks reprograms Grinder's gal with malicious code, compelling her to steal Sir C's secrets. Will love conquer all, or will Grindette succumb to Buttocks' evil scheme and betray her robotic beau?" |
Love is literally in the air as various couple are shown of various shapes and sizes. Grinder, however, is all on his own and sadly watches the other couples. Sir C. notices the saddened Grinder and goes out to help his lonesome robotic servant, who asks him to build a mechanical girlfriend for him. Sir C. complies with the request, but says he’ll delay the request for 3 months to work on other projects, further upsetting Grinder.
Pac, who has been chased by Pinky all episode, hides inside a can which ends up rolling into Grinder. The can gives him the idea to build “Grindette”, a girlfriend he can start a family with. He builds her body and attempts to bring her to life with electricity. This ends up not working, leaving Grinder distraught, and he leaves her body in the forest. Little does Grinder know, Dr. Buttocks was spying on him and plans to use Grindette to get into Sir C.’s secrets. Dr. Buttocks using red electricity to bring Grindette to life and places a control dial in her heart in order to take control of her to let her obtain the secrets. Betrayus then floats in eating cookies and is scared off by the robot’s presence where he then proceeds to hide in his Pac-Man & Ectoplasm proof safe room, Dr. Buttocks then tricks Betrayus into hiding away in the room so he can continue working on Grindette where he tells her to get into Grinder’s heart to obtain the secrets. A crying, depressed Grinder is under a tree, plucking petals of a flower away until he notices Grindette alive and instantly falls in love with her. Meanwhile, Pinky finally manages to capture Pac in her butterfly net, but he quickly escapes.
Sir C. sees the new couple but Fuzbitz inspects Grindette and becomes aggressive towards her, Sir C. takes Grindette as a member of the family and puts Fuzbitz in a cage to allow him to calm down. Pac shows up while flossing and Sir C. introduces him to Grindette. It then cuts to clips of Grinder and Grindette on a date where they eat wires together and the two dancing on a road causing loads of damage. Dr. Buttocks gloats on how his plan is working and then it cuts to the main trio coming to see the two robots embracing each other.
It then cuts to the lab where Sir C. and Grinder are sleeping where Grindette wakes up to steal the secrets from the computer until it gets interrupted with an anti-data theft program installed onto it. Grindette then goes through a door, which cuts to ghosts pampering Dr. Buttocks and Betrayus catching onto the fact he was being tricked the whole time where Grindette suddenly appears through a door, which ends up scaring Betrayus back into the room. Grindette then sends the data she managed to get into the computer but suddenly reverts to her normal programming upon seeing Grinder’s blueprints which Dr. Buttocks uses his remote to make her more evil and is annoyed with the secrets that Grindette stole being secrets he already stole. He then proceeds to argue with her not knowing the classified location of the Tree of Life even though he knows the file is very hidden and encrypted before angrily telling her to get more info from Grinder.
Pac is still getting chased around by Pinky where he uses a Super Speed Berry to get away from her who again continues to harass him, Pac says that Pinky is stuck to him like glue is which inspires her to use a glue trap on him. Pinky lunges after him but Pac jumps out his shoes (and somehow grows new ones) and trick Pinky into being stuck into her own trap.
It then cuts to a museum where Grindette serves Grinder some cogs, bolts and oil where Grinder is busy working on making her a wedding ring, which she is ecstatic to see. The plate hits Sir C. and he congratulates Grinder for his new bride, Sir C. pops the balloons on his bed and Grindette menacingly looks at him while Dr. Buttocks comments how his plan is working perfectly in her eye.
It then cuts to Pac absolutely exhausted from being chased by Pinky all night long where he and Spiral then get ready for the day. Grinder and Grindette are taking a picture and then Grindette tries to unsuccessfully obtain more info but Grinder enters the password to bypass the firewall. Sir C. tells Grinder to help him gas up the Pineapple Tank as he can feel something brewing. Unbeknownst to both, Grindette tries to hack into the computer again but finds herself unable to do so because of her devotion to Grinder, an annoyed Dr. Buttocks who was monitoring her the whole time makes her fully evil making her destroy the ring and finally download the location to the Tree of Life. Sir C. and Grinder return to see Grindette hacking into the machine, which devastates Grinder and makes Grindette realize the horrors of her action that she cannot control. Grindette runs away devastated from what she has done where Grinder looks in horror about the destroyed ring.
It then cuts to the classroom where the day ends and Pac can hopefully sleep off last night’s terrible chase but is called in by Sir C. who informs him about Grindette and Dr. Buttocks’ grand plot, which Pac reports for duty at the maze while Grinder is left behind and crying after what happened. Grindette is approaching the maze but is stopped by Titanium Pac and his other allies who tells Sir C. to not use the Pineapple Tank but he ends up needing it after Grindette unleashes her artillery at him. The Pineapple Tank proves to be ineffective at subduing her so Cyli tries talking to her but Grindette only throws her away; Pac decides to use an Elder Berry to become Pac-Kong and grab onto Grindette, Pinky yet again shows up to harass Pac and gets jealous over Grindette thinking she’s trying to steal him from her. She attacks by shooting pink blobs at Grindette and Pac-Kong and ends up hitting him in the eye causing him to get angry, drop Grindette and eat Pinky.
Pac returns to normal and everyone heads off to catch Grindette so Dr. Buttocks cannot get access to the data. It then cuts to a depressed Grinder watching TV, rewatching him and Grindette dancing and then reminiscing about the ring. It then cuts to the Netherworld where Dr. Buttocks rallies a bunch of ghosts to gloat in front of but unfortunately for him; Pac bursts out into the area to take him down where Pinky interjects by being upset about being eaten and being over him for now. Pac then heads to the computer where he is then stopped and defeated by Grindette who traps the four with stalagmites, Sir C. comments on a flaw in Dr. Buttocks’ plan on how while she is well built, can she really betray her love.
Grinder then falls into the scene and offers Grindette the repaired ring which causes her to fight between her love for Grinder and the control of Dr. Buttocks. Grindette grabs onto the ring and throws it into stalagmites, which makes it bounce around more stalagmites, the throne, Betrayus’ safety room, Dr. Buttocks himself, and the computer multiple times which causes it to get destroyed and finally catches it on her hand. The power of love allows her to take out the control chip, destroy it and then proceeds to embrace Grinder after the adventure. Pac then pushes the stalagmites away and everyone including the angry Grindette but Betrayus then complains on how it must be safe now which Dr. Buttocks says yes it is and flees while Betrayus is unwittingly out to get everyone’s punishment.
