Candle Skeleton[1] is an enemy in Pac-Man World and Pac-Man World Re-Pac. It is a variant of Skeleton that dons a top hat and holds a candle in its right hand.

Pac-Man World[]

Candle Skeleton appears as an enemy across all three levels of Mansion. By default, it will lay motionless on the ground, but when Pac-Man gets too close to it, it will get up and start walking around. It attacks by blowing on its candle, creating a large flame in front of it that can damage Pac-Man.
Defeating it rewards the player with 200 points.
Pac-Man World Re-Pac[]

Candle Skeleton returns in Pac-Man World Re-Pac as an enemy, retaining both its behavior and its point value from the original game. In addition to the levels it already appeared in, Candle Skeleton now appears in Toc-Man's Lair. It spawns from one of five piles of bones scattered across the arena, and it will roam around until destroyed by one of Pac-Man or Toc-Man's attacks. If Candle Skeleton is defeated in this level, it does not reward any points, but it does leave behind Pac-Dots that Pac-Man can use to perform Pac-Dot Attacks.
Additionally, a metallic variant of Candle Skeleton appears in Grave Danger. Pac-Man is unable to destroy it unless he eats a Metal Dot.

Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac[]

Candle Skeleton appears in Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac as a collectable Gashapon figure. Its figure can be obtained from the "PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC Collection 3" machine in Pac-Village's Arcade.

Appearance[]
Design-wise, Candle Skeleton shares some features with its pirate-themed counterpart, such as its disproportionately large head and long limbs. As such, any changes to those features made in Pac-Man World Re-Pac also apply to Candle Skeleton.
Candle Skeleton's design in the original Pac-Man World is relatively simple. It is a skeleton that wears nothing more than a black top hat with a turquoise band. In its right hand, it holds a candle tray containing an orange candle.
In Pac-Man World Re-Pac, Candle Skeleton wears a tuxedo with a blue bowtie in addition to its top hat. Aside from that, and its general body structure, other small changes were made to its design. For instance, the band on its top hat is now blue, and its candle is now white instead of orange.
Trivia[]
- In Pac-Man World, Candle Skeleton's candle is always lit, even when it is lying down. However, in Pac-Man World Re-Pac, the candle is not lit while its owner is lying down. Once Candle Skeleton gets up, its candle automatically lights itself.
