Cap'n Banshee and his Interstellar Buccaneers

Cap'n Banshee and his Interstellar Buccaneers is the tenth episode of Season 2 of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. It aired on October 10, 2014.

Episode Plot[]

"A summer sky cruise takes a turn for the worse when Pac and his pals are confronted by spectral space pirates bent on capturing Mooby Dick, a colossal cosmic cow."

Pac, Spiral and Cylindria are cloud surfing to celebrate the start of their summer vacation flying to the Pacgolopogos Skylands before realizing that they are lost before Pac reassures the two by saying that the plane is equipped with a GPS and autopilot so they can continue to relax until they get attacked by a toilet plunger from a ghost pirate. Betrayus recognizes the ship and calls every ghost to see the defeat of Pac whilst also taking credit for himself. The space pirate, Captain Banshee is disappointed that he didn't catch his intended target and orders his crew to attack the teenagers regardless of such. Spiral and Cyli equip their guns while Pac becomes Titanium Pac which causes Banshee to recognize as him as the Pac-Man on the interstellarnet and gives him the idea to use the power berries to finally capture the great cosmic cow Mooby Dick.

Titanium Pac, Cyli and Spiral make quick work of the ghost crew before Titanium Pac heads off to face Banshee before he reveals that his ship has a regeneration chamber meaning all of that fighting was all for naught which all of the ghosts in the netherworld cheer for until Inky stages a riot and encourages everyone in the Netherworld to side with Captain Banshee instead of Betrayus, much to his ire. Dr. Buttocks and Butt-ler also attempt to join but Betrayus latches control chips onto the two to control them against their will and dons a pirate persona known as "Admiral Betrayus." Back on the ships, Titanium Pac gives two power berries to Cyli and Spiral to turn the former into Rubber Cylindria to bounce on the ghosts and then into Titanium Pac on accident to defeat more of them while Spiral turns into Fly Guy and tells Pac to stop burping out the eyes as they keep going back in the regeneration chamber which Pac tries his best to not do as they continue struggling to fight off the hordes of ghosts but ends up failing anyways. Cyli says to Spiral to say it can't get any worse but it ends up getting worse due to the arrival of new ghost crewmates; Pinky gets the idea to raid Banshee's treasure while Pac complains to her and the ghost gang about the current predicament before continuing to fight as Spin Pac but Spiral and Cyli are taken hostage and held as ransom for the power berries. Pac flies up and gives Banshee some trick berries but ties him up as well and per the request of Pinky, states that his goal for the power berries in song form is to get his treasure back after Mooby Dick stole it after impaling his ship with her horn with Pinky shocked to hear that he's actually broke. Banshee is glad to know he can finally succeed where he summons Mooby with his crew.

Pinky objects to Banshee's decision in fighting the cosmic bovine but goes ahead and eats a yellow berry with white swirls on it which causes to violently spin around like a tornado before becoming dazed and stopping. Pac suggests him to eat a garlic-like berry which he does and causes him to start spewing awful odor from his mouth which ends up causing Mooby to sneeze onto him which gives Pinky ample time to pickpocket the keys off of him. Banshee latches another plunger onto Mooby's backside which causes her to run into space while avoiding a ghosteroid belt, shooting stars and Pointy Heads but narrowly avoid them all. The Ghost Gang realize that pirate life isn't worth it and free the teens while wishing to go back to their old lives as everyone proceeds to abandon ship. Mooby, rampaging from all of the stress continues to run around until Pac uses his long tongue to get the chest off of her horn, calms her down and the rest of Banshee's crew comes to realize that she is actually quite nice. Banshee still wants to take her out and angrily demands weapon fire to be aimed at her but still taunts Pac as him fighting his crew still is all for naught until it is revealed Spiral and Cyli had completely disassembled the regeneration chamber much to his ire. Pac taunts Banshee by giving him one last berry which ends up shrinking him and allows his dragon-parrot an opportunity for revenge as his Aqua Ghosts laugh at his misery.

Back at the Netherworld, Betrayus continues to lounge about while gloating to himself that losing all of his other ghost minions was the best thing that ever happened to him until a wormhole shows up and many ghosts start to swarm the Netherworld en masse which causes him to get mad. Back in the sky, Pac removes all of the plungers off of Mooby's back and happily departs with her with the knowledge that she is safe with the treasure finally off of her horn as they head off to a beach party.
