Clown Racer

Clown Racers are opponents in Pac-Man World. They appear in Clown Prix and fight Pac-Man as the fourth boss in the game.

Two Clown Racers

Clown Racers are large clowns who ride in large bumper cars, similar to that of Green Bumper Cars, but with a clown motif. Their faces are white, and their heads are covered in afros and their noses have rubber noses of different colorus. Their Re-Pac version adds a fanged mouth. Pac-Man races against them in a wacked out Haunted Funhouse track. Due to the modifications to his car, Pac-Man needs a Power Pellet to perform the turbo dash. If Pac-Man bumps into them, or vice versa, they make an annoying laugh. The only way to defeat a Clown Racer is to bump them off the ledge, permanently removing them from the race.

In Re-Pac, Toc-Man appears to summon the Clown Racers. The battle is in first-person-view. The Clown Racers have their number decreased from 15 to 11, and when Pac-Man wins the race, they will crash their cars. Strangely, only three of four appear during this cutscene, implying that the other seven are lagging way far behind, regardless the pack's distribution across the course.
