Hanna-Barbera Productions was the animation studio that produced the Pac-Man television series. The studio was founded by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera in 1957 after they were fired from MGM, and would become one of the biggest animation studios in the world for the next four decades, creating cartoons like Yogi Bear, The Flintstones, and Scooby-Doo. The studio would produce the animated series Pac-Man in 1982, which would run until 1983. The studio was closed by Warner Bros. in 2001 and is currently used as a brand name.
