Hey, Hey, Hey...It's P.J. is the second segment of the first episode of the second season (fourteenth overall) of the Pac-Man animated series. It marks the introduction of P.J.

Synopsis[]

The innovative Pac-Man uses all his tricks to convince P.J. to stay in school.[1]

Plot[]

Pac-Man and Chomp-Chomp are doing spring-cleaning in the garage until Sour Puss gets another scheme to prank Chomp-Chomp by tricking him into biting a balloon that fails to inflate. Sour Puss in a fit of rage starts to angrily bite the balloon while Pac-Man accidentally sits on the air pump, causing it to inflate inside of Sour Puss and send him flying around the house. Pac-Man is satisfied with the end result of the clean until P.J. suddenly drives in on his motorcycle and announces that he wants to live with Pac-Man after dropping out of Pac-Land High, much to Pac-Man’s annoyance.

P.J. proves to be a bad houseguest when he eats all of the food in the fridge and make Pac-Baby drive his motorcycle across the neighborhood, which leads to Pac-Man running and crashing into a bunch of cars. Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man are fed up with P.J.’s antics, which leads the latter to get the idea convince him to go back to high school, which Pac-Man has to do on his own. Pac-Man confronts P.J. and tells him that if he enjoys Pac-Land High in one day that he will go back home and re-enroll but if he does not enjoy it, he will live in Pac-Man’s garage for a year, which he refuses, as he hates school.

Pac-Man and P.J. arrive at high school where they go to Pac-Physics class where P.J. tells Professor Pacstein that Pac-Man spoke up when he tried to get P.J. to be quiet, Pacstein in return uses Pac-Man as an example of the law of gravity, sends him flying into the ceiling and having him fall down. Pac-Man gets the idea to go to a drama class to make P.J. enjoy high school where P.J. rudely insults an actor in the class leading to Pac-Man excuse his behavior before getting forced to act with P.J.. Pac-Man and P.J. poorly act out Romeo-Pac and Juliet, which ends up leading to various female students swooning over P.J. leading to Pac-Man falling over. At the Pac-Gym, Pac-Man is forced to do exercise with the rings but ends up tangling himself up and falling down. At the cafeteria, P.J. is still not convinced while Pac-Man tries to convince him with his intelligent peers but ends up accidentally angers a bully leading P.J. to argue with the bully before cowardly using Pac-Man as a scapegoat. Pac-Principal suddenly arrives after hearing all of the commotion and gets pelted by Power Pellets when Pac-Man lands on a tray; everyone in the cafeteria says the fight was started by Pac-Man which leads to both him and P.J. getting kicked out of the school. The experience had successfully convinced P.J. to go back to school but not before P.J. decides to party with various female students before doing so.

Errors[]

  • In the overhead shots of Professor Pacstein's classroom, P.J.'s pants are the same color as his skin.
