Ink Ghosts are a type of ghost that solely appear in Pac-Pix as the main enemies of the game. They were created by a wizard who invented Ghost Ink which would cause anything written in it to turn into mischievous ghosts. Ink Ghosts are shown to have magical powers as they curse Pac-Man into being stuck as a piece of paper for the majority of the game alongside other abilities such as enhanced speed, teleportation, numerical invincibility, barriers, splatting paint on pages, shoot out arrows, change size and produce more ghosts. Despite possessing the magical powers, they appear to be weaker than normal ghosts as they are easily bested by gestures of Pac-Man.
Ink Master is the strongest Ink Ghost with his vast amounts of Ghost Ink making him darker and stronger than the more colorful minions but he too shares their weakness. Once Ink Master is defeated, the magic of the Ink Ghosts and the Ink Ghosts themselves disappear.
