Into the Volcano is, as the name implies, the first level of the Volcano world in Pac-Man World 2, and 14th level generally. This level features the only appearance of Pookas in the game, as well as the Pooka Plant, who only appears once. It's also the first level to feature Stonies.
The level marker is white, carried over from the previous world; this is the last level to have a white marker. Also, there isn't much lava in this level, despite its name; in fact, there's even waterfalls at one point. The Galaxian's maze, however, is covered in lava, which inadvertently causes a spoiler due to how early it shows up in the level.
