A naval mine as it appears in Pac-Man Friends
Naval mines are objects that appear within the Pac-Man series that explode upon contact with Pac-Man.
Pac-Man World (and Re-Pac)[]
They only appear in Corsair's Cave and establishes their standard behavior.
Pac-Man World 2 (Re-Pac)[]
Naval mines reappear in Pac-Man World 2 and its enhanced remake Re-Pac where they can be destroyed by the torpedoes and smart bombs Pac-Man uses and damage him on contact.

In Re-Pac, the mines are chained, only have eight hertz horns with blue lights at their tips. If Pac-Man goes near one, the lights flash red and make a beeping sound as the mine floats towards him. While dangerous in most cases, they can be useful in helping Pac-Man get away from Wild Sharks as they get stunned if they try to eat a mine.
Pac-Man Friends[]
Naval mines reappear in Pac-Man Friends where they move along with the Pac-People and rapidly blinks red when a Pac-Person gets close to it. Touching the mine will cause it to explode and make the player lose a life if they don't have a cherry; ghosts, lasers or fruit that touch the mine do not cause it explode.
