"No Body Knows" is the eleventh episode of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. It premiered on July 1, 2013.
Episode Plot[]
"Lord Betrayus steals the Repository of the ghosts' corporeal bodies, but not before Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde nab one body to share between them. Then it's up to Pac, Cyli and Spiral to get the Repository back from the Netherworld... with four ghosts in one uncoordinated corporeal body leading them." |
Pac, Spiral, and Cylindria are called to the Round House due to an urgent situation. When the trio arrives, President Spheros and Sir Cumference reveal to them that the building is infested with Slug Cams from the Netherworld. They then express concern that Betrayus might be attempting to uncover the secret location of the Repository and explain that they need the three teens to help move it to a new location. Before they start, Sir C sprays the room with an electronic bug zapper to kill any slug cams present in the room. Then, he opens a secret compartment in the Ovoid Office to reveal the Repository. The trio take the Repository and follow Sir C into an elevator and through a series of long passageways... that take them back to the Ovoid Office. The elderly scientists reasons that doing so is so okay because any peering eyes would have gotten confused by the convoluted route they took. However, unbeknownst to everyone in the office, a single Slug Cam had survived the bug spray and was recording them at that very moment.
Meanwhile, Betrayus is berating Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde for not terrorizing any Pac-Worlders when Butt-ler informs him that he has received video footage from a Slug Cam. Everyone in the throne room is exhilarated upon seeing the Repository on the feed. Butt-ler asks his master if he wants to summon a Ghostly army, but Betrayus declines, instead going for a more covert option: The Creepies. Soon after, the Ghost Gang heads to the surface to warn Pac and his friends about the imminent threat. The trio make their way back to the Round House, but not before the four Ghosts make them to promise to let them have their bodies back.
The trio wake up the President and Sir Cumference before heading to the Ovoid Office. Unfortunately, the Repository has already been stolen, but Pac manages to catch The Creepies running off with it. Pac, Spiral, and Cyli chase the Creepies into Maze 256, where they manage to corner the two Ghosts. The two opposing factions scuffle over the cylindrical container, each trying to pull it from the other's grasp. However, everyone pulls it so hard that they all lose their grip and fling the Repository to a different part of the Maze. Realizing that this is their chance, the Ghost Gang fly over to the Repository while no one else is looking and open it. All four are sucked into the container, but only one body is spat out. The Creepies then recover the Repository, knock out Pac, and slip into a portal before Spiral and Cylindria can catch them. Luckily, the blow didn't injure Pac, but he and the other soon face another problem. Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde happened to enter the exact same body, and now they are fighting for control over it. Cylindria gives them a mirror to try and figure out whose body it is, but none of them recognize it. Sir Cumference tells the four former Ghosts that the only way to leave that body is to reenter the Repository. The trio decides venture into the Netherworld with the Ghost Gang to retrieve the Repository.
Betrayus is ecstatic when he sees the Creepies deliver the Repository to him, but, try as he might, he is unable to open it. Seeing as Butt-ler's twin bother was unavailable at the moment, Betrayus forces the pair of Tentacle Ghosts to open it themselves. Meanwhile, Pac, Spiral, Cylindria, and the Ghost Gang make their way into the Netherworld. They are almost immediately spotted by two gossiping Ghosts, but Cylindria tricks them into thinking she and her friends are fellow Ghosts who have recently received their bodies from the Repository. The two Ghosts rush to tell their friend, Mavis, the news while the four Pac-Worlders slip away. While impatiently waiting for the Creepies to finish their task, Betrayus spots Pac on surveillance footage. He issues an alert for Pac's capture but—because he wants to be the first to get his body back—neglects to mention the Repository.
As they continue to trek through the Netherworld, Pac and company are discovered by Ogle. The Cyclops Ghosts intends to cook the four PacWorlders for his special, but Blinky manages to convince him that he had just gotten his body from the Repository and that the other three PacWorlders were his cohorts. Excited by the fact that what Mavis had told him was true, Ogle invites the four to his stand and treats them to complementary roach burgers. After they finish eating, the four continue their mission. Eventually, they find the Creepies trying to open the Repository. When the Creepies leave for their union break, Pac, Spiral, and Cylindria make a run for their target; however, they are caught by the Tentacle Ghosts when the break ends not a few seconds later. The Creepies try to capture the trio, but Pac manages to hold them off long enough to grab the Repository and make a run for it. Joined by a swarm of Betrayus' royal guards, the Creepies chase after them, but they get stuck when trying to chase the PacWorlders into a narrow tunnel. After exiting the tunnel, the four realize an angry Dragon is about to attack. Pac whips out his Berry Dispenser, but the Dragon bashes its head into the rocky bridge he and his friends are standing on, knocking the Dispenser out of his hand before he can use any of its Berries. A second bash knocks Pac, Spiral, and Cyli off the bridge while the Ghost Gang and the Repository are flung into a small alcove. Pac barely keeps himself and his friends from falling into the canyon below by grabbing onto the ledge. To make matters worse, Betrayus arrives to ask them about the Repository's location.
In the alcove, the Ghost Gang realizes that the impact from the crash opened the Repository. Blinky and Inky are eager to get their bodies back, but Pinky wants to help her crush instead. Clyde suggests that they can go back to being Ghosts to help Pac. With Pinky agreeing and Blinky reluctantly going along, the Ghost Gang enter the Repository and leave without their bodies. Just as Pac is about to lose his grip, the four Ghosts make their presence known and claim they want to help find the Repository. While the others distract Betrayus and his royal guards by giving contradictory direction, Pinky slips a spare Power Berry into Pac's hand. Eventually, Betrayus becomes fed up with the Ghost Gang's antics and forces them to leave, but by then, Pac has already transformed and gotten his friends to safety. Realizing that the tables have turned, Betrayus flees from the scene. Pac takes care of the Dragon and royal guards while Spiral and Cylindria grab the Repository.
The trio makes it out of the Netherworld with the Repository in hand. President Spheros and Sir Cumference, thanking the three teenagers before taking the Repository to a new secret location. As the two leaving, the trio realize that they forgot to fulfill their promise to the Ghost Gang. They try to get Spheros and Sir C's attention, but they are already too far away to hear them. When Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde find out the bad news, they become incredibly upset, but the trio cheers them up by reminding them that they helped save Pac-World. Meanwhile, in the Netherworld, Betrayus is stuck with neither his body nor the Repository, and now he must deal with an angry mob of Ghosts who want their own bodies back.
