"No Pets Allowed... Especially Monsters! Part II" is the fourth episode of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. It premiered on June 20th, 2013.
Plot[]
"Dr. Buttocks amps up the stakes by inventing the Molecular Magnifier to create gigantic Monsters. Meanwhile, Pac is in for more trouble than he bargained for when he adopts the little monster that saved his life." |
Following his decision to adopt Fuzbitz in the previous episode, Pac and his friend, Spiral, try to sneak the monster into their dorm. Their plan is to throw Fuzbitz to Cylindria, who would be waiting in the dorm; however, they have to cut their plan short when they realize Skeebo is watching them. Pac is able to fool Skeebo by disguising Fuzbitz as a hat, but after he leaves, Spiral sees Ms. Globular walking her dog, forcing the three to hide in the bushes. Unfortunately, Ms. Globular's dog picks up their scent and starts barking, prompting Fuzbitz to act aggressively in return.
Pac decides to come out of the bushes to try and talk his way out of the situation. When Ms. Globular chastises the yellow teenager for violating his curfew, Pac attempts to explain that he did so to practice his "night-vision ghost hunting" skills. Ms. Globular doesn't buy Pac's alibi and begins to suspect someone else is hiding in the bushes; luckily, Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde happen to arrive and scare off the teacher and her pet. The four ghosts then reveal that they had come to check on Fuzbitz (at the request of Clyde) and to warn Pac that Dr. Buttocks was crafting a new scheme. Once they manage to get him into the dorm, the trio tells Fuzbitz to behave himself, but they soon realize that taking care of the monster would be more difficult than they anticipated, especially with his big appetite.
Pac and Spiral got very little sleep due to Fuzbitz's loud snoring, and, as a result, they ended up falling asleep in class the next day. Later, when the trio enter the cafeteria for lunch, they discover that Fuzbitz left the dorm and ate all the food. Not wanting the rest of the students to discover Fuzbitz, Pac hastily shoves the monster into his mouth. Skeebo lashes out at Pac for eating all the food again. Spiral and Cylindria try to convince him to forget about it, but he and other students leave only when Pac "vomits" in front of them. Now all alone. the trio realize they need to get Fuzbitz back to the dorm and figure out how to deal with the impending invasion. Spiral and Pac go to the Tree of Life to collect Power Berries while Cylindria stays with Fuzbitz in the dorm. While he's there, Pac finds an extra large Berry, one that's so large that it can't fit inside his Berry Dispenser.
Meanwhile, in the Netherworld, the Ghost Gang anxiously wait outside Betrayus' throne room to find out what the new plan is. Inside, Dr. Buttocks is showing off his newest invention, the Molecular Magnifier, which is able to increase an object's size. He demonstrates his machine on Butt-ler before using it on a gargoyle. Betrayus is impressed and orders Buttocks to launch an invasion.
Pac, Spiral, and Cylindria visit Sir Cumference's lab to see if he has any new anti-monster weapons, but, to their dismay, he still does not have any and is instead looking for something he lost. The trio are at a loss, but they are forced to leap into action anyway once they hear the Ghost Attack Detection Signal. With the gigantic gargoyle sending Pacopolis' residents into a panic, Betrayus orders Dr. Buttocks to start the invasion. The mad scientist promptly orders the ghost army he brought with him to start sliming the Pac-Worlders. By the time the three teenagers and Fuzbitz arrive, the gargoyle is about to step on a cluster of Pac-Worlders trapped inside a large slime ball. The three decide to split up. Spiral and Cylindria move the slime ball out of the way while Pac deals the ghosts.
After eating all the ghosts, including Buttocks, Pac decides to eat the large Berry he saved to deal with the giant monster. The Berry causes Pac to grow to a gargantuan size, transforming him into PacZilla. PacZilla and the gargoyle then fight each other one-on-one. The battle is evenly matched, but PacZilla manages to gain the upper-hand by kicking the gargoyle into a building. It is then knocked unconscious when part of said building falls on its head. Spiral, Cylindria, and the trapped citizens all begin cheering; however, the Ghost Gang cut the celebrations short when they warn PacZilla that the gargoyle has gotten back on his feet.
PacZilla declares that he's ready to take on the monster again, but he suddenly runs out of Berry Power and returns to his normal size. Without any more PacZilla Berries, it looks like all hope is lost. Luckily, Sir C arrives just in time with his new weapon, a shrinking ray, which he demonstrates by accidentally shrinking himself. The only caveat, however, is that the ray affects only targets that are within a two-foot radius. Nevertheless, Pac jumps on his hoverboard and flies towards the gargoyle. He struggles to find a good position to fire the ray since he has to dodge all the monster's attacks, but he eventually succeeds in his task by firing the ray from inside the monster's mouth. The trio congratulates Sir C for his new invention before hauling the slimy cluster of Pac-Worlders away to a nearby car wash.
Betrayus, meanwhile, is upset at Dr. Buttocks that he prevents him from using the Regeneration Chamber. Butt-ler, wanting to see his twin brother suffer even more, delivers a baseball bat to his master. Butt-ler is amused by his brother's attempts to dodge the bat; however, Buttocks gets the last laugh when he tricks Betrayus into swatting the purple ghost.
Pac, Spiral, and Cylindria return to the lab, where they apologize to Sir C for doubting him. The elderly scientist forgives them but is disappointed at the prospect of being cooped up in the lab. The teenagers use this opportunity to persuade the scientist to adopt Fuzbitz, which he gladly agrees to. The trio then quickly leave, thinking Fuzbitz will destroy the lab, but it turns out he and Sir C get along well.
