"Pac-Grab" (also known as the "Pac Crane" series) refers to a series of claw/crane machines, developed by ILM Ltd. (?) and released in 2004 by Brent Sales/Namco Europe.
Overview[]
The Pac-Grab machines appear to be modified from older machines manufactured by ILM, particularly those from the Maxx Grab series. In addition to having modified artwork, the machines appear to play sound effects from the original Pac-Man arcade game.[1]
The series is known to include the following machines:
- Pac-Grab - a larger machine, intended to use toys as prizes.
- Pac-Grab Jr. - a smaller machine, intended to use toys as prizes.
- Pac-Candy - a smaller machine, intended to use candy as prizes. Uses a pink casing instead of yellow.
- Pac-Capsule - further details are unknown; this may be confusion for an above variant, or an unrelated machine entirely.[2]
