Pac-Man Wiki

Pac-Man Baller is an arcade basketball game, developed by Polish manufacturer WIK Amusement and released in 2022 by Bandai Namco Amusement America. A child-oriented successor machine, Pac-Man Baller Jr., was released in late 2025.

The game is connected to a "series" of Pac-Man redemption games known as the "Pac-Man Street Range", each of which features "street art"-like designs. Other titles in this set include Pac-Man Roller, Pac-Man Pinger/Slider, and Pac-Man Whack-The-Ghosties.

Overview[]

Pac-Man Baller is a rebranded version of WIK's previously-released Basketball machine,[1] redesigned to feature Pac-Man-themed artwork and sound effects. Notably, both machines are weatherproof, allowing them to be used in outdoor locations.

The game itself is a Super Shot-styled game, in which the player must shoot basketballs into a hoop that moves left and right. Each round tasks the player with shooting a certain number of baskets (e.g. 20 shots) in order to advance to the next stage. The game features a video screen for scoring. The machine features options for both an "amusement mode" and a "ticket mode", the latter awarding tickets based on the player's score. Multiple Pac-Man Baller machines can be linked together for competitive play.

Pac-Man Baller Jr.[]

Pac-Man Baller Jr. is a successor to the original Pac-Man Baller machine, released in late 2025 by Bandai Namco Amusement America. The "Jr." machine is intended for younger children, featuring shorter (albeit wider) dimensions for ease of use. Additionally, the machine features two basketball hoops placed side-by-side, allowing for two-player simultaneous play.

Trivia[]

  • Pac-Man Baller was released as a successor to Pac-Man Basket, another arcade basketball game that had been in production since the early 2010s.[2]
  • There appear to be two different variants of the machine; with later models being based on WIK's "Compact" Basketball game,[3] featuring a different outer shape (while using similar artwork designs). It is unknown if the game software differs between the two.
