Pac-Man Wiki

Pac-Man Bowling is a mobile bowling game, developed by GenPlay Games and released in 2004 by Namco-America.

Overview[]

Pac-Man Bowling is a ten-pin bowling game; the player uses a distance meter and a power meter to line up shots. Power-ups can be obtained by hitting Fruits that appear on the lane; the player must also avoid bowling into Ghosts that run across the screen.

The game features four playable characters: Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Baby, and Inky. Each character has their own power-ups and special abilities. Additionally, Pac-Baby acts as an easier difficulty setting; adding bumpers to the sides of the bowling lane.

Trivia[]

  • The game's art assets are modeled after (or directly modified from) an odd assortment of sources. Pac-Man's artwork uses digitized 3D renders from the 1999 Pac-Man Character Manual, with Ms. Pac-Man using her matching design seen in Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness. Inky and Pac-Baby's designs are based on the original U.S. arcade artwork for Pac-Man and Baby Pac-Man, respectively.
