Pac-Man Feast is an arcade redemption game released in 2015, likely developed by Bandai Namco Amusement America.
Pac-Man Feast is only known to have been released in certain areas of Asia (notably excluding Japan) and Europe; the Asian release was published by Guangzhou Baohui Electronic Science & Technology.[1] Additionally, the game was briefly featured on the Bandai Namco Amusement America website; only being listed from March to July of 2016 (across two web domains).[2] This suggests a North American release was planned, but was either canceled or had very limited distribution.
Gameplay[]
The player controls a cannon-like joystick that propels air into the machine's playfield. The player must use their air cannon to propel red balls upward into a moving Pacster target's basket. The player earns a point for each ball that lands in the basket, and is given tickets based on their score (with the ticket values displayed below the scoreboard). The machine features artwork based on Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, and uses sound effects from Pac-Man Championship Edition DX.
Trivia[]
- The stock image of the cabinet is appears to be of an early design, with a noticeably different inner playfield compared to the final machine. In this picture, the central Pac-Man uses a "Pac-Man Party"-like design of the character, while the released machine uses the slightly different "Pacster" design from Ghostly Adventures.
