Pac-Man Hats was an "open beta" Android game released in 2016 on Google Play. It was removed in 2017.
Gameplay[]
The game plays similarly to other Pac-Man maze-based games, but it had a form of map screen for mazes and additional Power-Ups that Pac-Man could use, in the form of hats. Mazes were brand-new and had some new features to them, like clouds that Pac-Man could use to hide from Ghosts in. Hats could be used a limited number of times before they had to be refilled (either with a stamina bar to refill or with in-game money). Its graphics style is heavily based on the original Pac-Man game.
Hats[]
There were either 2 or more hats in the game, which are:
- Zeus Hat - When Pac-Man eats 25 pellets, he will temporally electrify all the ghosts for 2 seconds (the ghosts cannot be eaten in this state without a power pellet).
- Pirate Hat - Function is unknown.
Pac-Man Hats 2[]
The original Pac-Man Hats was taken down from the Google Play store in 2017, being replaced with Pac-Man Hats 2. As with its predecessor, it was released as an open beta. For unknown reasons, it was taken down from Google Play rather quickly, only up for a matter of weeks before its removal.
Similarities to Pac-Man + Tournaments[]

The startup screen was very similar to Pac-Man + Tournaments when it was released. Some sections are also used in + Tournaments (both before and after Hats 2's release), such as Adventure (now "Story Mode"), Classic, Tournaments, and chests for completing a certain amount of levels/missions.
Adventure[]
There are 90 levels total, with a mission to complete for every one. Hats are used the same way as they were in Hats 1, with the same amount of Pac-Dots needed.
Classic[]
There is a classic mode similar to + Tournaments; however, tokens were needed to play it. There are also checkpoints for every level completed.
Tournaments[]
This game was going to have tournaments (labeled as "Coming Soon!" on the selection menu), but the game's short release led to the feature never being added. It would have likely been similar to the tournaments found in Pac-Man + Tournaments.

Hats[]
- Cool Hat - Pac-Man would drop an ice cube block that could make a ghost vulnerable every 15 Pac-Dots he ate.
- Hacker Hat - Once Pac-Man has consumed 20 pellets all the ghosts will freeze and turn blue for 3 seconds.
- Magician Hat - Every time Pac-Man ate 20 Pac-Dots, he could make ghosts disappear where he is is facing by shooting them with magic (can be used on multiple ghosts at once).
- Alien Hat - Pac-Man drops acid, which instantly vaporizes a ghost who dares touch it.
