Pac-Man Roller is an arcade alley roller game, developed by Polish manufacturer WIK Amusement and released in 2023 by Bandai Namco Amusement America.
The game is connected to a "series" of Pac-Man redemption games known as the "Pac-Man Street Range", each of which features "street art"-like designs. Other titles in this set include Pac-Man Baller, Pac-Man Pinger/Slider, and Pac-Man Whack-The-Ghosties.
Overview[]
Pac-Man Roller is a rebranded version of WIK's previously-released Alley Bowler machine,[1] redesigned to feature Pac-Man-themed artwork and sound effects. Up to three machines can be linked together, with their marquees/scoreboards displaying connected visuals in attract mode.
The game itself is an alley roller or Skee-Ball-based game. The machine features video screens for scoring, across both the marquee area and the lane sides. The machine features options for both an "amusement mode" and a "ticket mode", the latter awarding tickets based on the player's score.
Trivia[]
- Pac-Man Roller could be considered the successor to Pac-Man Ghost Bowling, similar to how Pac-Man Baller was released as a successor to Pac-Man Basket. However, Pac-Man Ghost Bowling was long out of production by the time of Pac-Man Roller's release.
- The game's title is sometimes identified as "Pac-Man Rollin' with the Ghosties" (or just "Rollin' with the Ghosties"), likely due to this phrase appearing in the marquee area. However, this does not appear to be intended as an actual title for the game.
