Pac-Ranger (パックレンジャー Pakku Renjā) is a Pac-Person who first appeared in Pac-Man World 2. He is a park ranger who is in charge of overseeing Blade Mountain.

History[]

Pac-Man World 2[]

Main article: Pac-Man World 2

Pac-Ranger first appears at the beginning Ice River Run. He warns Pac-Man about the local Rev Roll Rams and tells him how to defeat them. Pac-Ranger again appears in Blade Mountain, in which he teaches Pac-Man how to skate down the mountain slope before the actual level starts.

Pac-Man Pinball Advance[]

Pac-Ranger appears in Pac-Man Pinball Advance as one of the eight residents of Pac-Land that were kidnapped by the Ghost Gang. The player must save him and the rest of the lost residents to beat the game.

Pac-Man Monsters[]

Pac Ranger appeared in Pac-Man Monsters as a collectable Monster. He was offered as a limited time reward for defeating Level 30 of Ghost Spooky. He was a Super-Rare Water-type Monster whose Leader Skill, Water HP Up, increased the HP of all friendly Water-type Monsters.

By evolving Pac Ranger, the player would get an Ultra-Rare Monster known as Senior Pac Ranger. The player could also obtain him by beating Level 50 Ghost Spooky. Just like Pac Ranger, Senior Pac Ranger was a Water-type monster with Water HP Up as his Leader Skill.

Minecraft x Pac-Man[]

Pac-Ranger appears as a playable character in Minecraft's Pac-Man DLC.

Appearance[]

Pac-Ranger wears a brown, cowboy-type hat with what looks like a sheriff's badge on it. Pac-Ranger wears mostly black boots with light orange gloves, and a brown belt. He also carries a pair of binoculars. His design in Pac-Man World Re-Pac 2 remains mostly unchanged, except for a rounder eye shape, a black belt, and laces on his boots, which are now brown.

In Pac-Man Monsters, Pac-Ranger gets redesigned into two forms: SR Pac Ranger and UR Senior Pac Ranger. His Minecraft appearance reverts back to the original design (save for, naturally, being cubical). The SR Pac Ranger resembles the classic Pac Ranger, but with blue skin, a mustache, and red shoes, and the UR Senior Pac Ranger has all the aforementioned traits but with a large white beard and a longer mustache.
