PacLantis

PacLantis is the twentieth episode of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. It aired on September 28, 2013.

Episode Plot[]

"When Dr. Buttocks gets a map leading to the ancient, lost city of PacLantis, Pac, Cyli and Spiral voyage to the bottom of the sea to try and beat Buttocks and Betrayus to PacLantisand[sic] the legendary power Berry of Youth!"

Ice Pac, Cylindria and Spiral are fighting off ghosts with Ice Pac freezing and eating them all with Dr. Buttocks saying he was expecting them to take back Sir Cumference's stolen inventions with a gun he made but it only fires a measly dart so Ice Pac decides to inhale all of them into his own body via his tongue so Dr. Buttocks tries to make off with the scroll but Ice Pac inhales him but ends up tearing apart the scroll but has to leave due to his berry power running low. Betrayus berates Dr. Buttocks for Pac taking everything back but he then brings up how he has a part of the scroll and will make the greatest discovery of all time that being the map to PacLantis. Betrayus and Butt-ler aren't impressed initially until Dr. Buttocks folds it into the shape of a star which makes Betrayus glad and dispose of Dr. Buttocks until he accidentally burns the map so he rehires Dr. Buttocks and demands him take Betrayus to PacLantis immediately. Dr. Buttocks is apprehensive due to the location being underwater but Betrayus still wants to go anyways which the worried Ghost Gang hear about and try to put a stop to.

Pac spits out all of Sir C's gadgets and hands over the piece of the map he had inside of himself which he investigates and sees that it leads to PacLantis and Dr. Buttocks may have found it in one of his early inventions, possibly related to Zac who had a passion for trying to find PacLantis and promptly locates a picture of him and Sunny diving together which Pac theorizes that is where they disappeared to and Sir C knows that the Berry of Youth is in fact real alongside Zac. Sir C decides they need to hurry so Betrayus doesn't get his body back. Betrayus during the mean time is still heading to PacLantis despite the protests of Dr. Buttocks and the moment he touches water, he gets cooled as a result due to his nature as a fire ghost so Dr. Buttocks seals Betrayus in a bubble while the Ghost Gang watches and laughs at him. Sir C modifies Spiral and Cyli's hoverboards for underwater travel and gives them gill berries so they can breathe underwater so they can follow the ghosts to PacLantis. They do so by shrinking down and going down the drain all the way to the sea. They get antagonized by fish before they grow back to their normal size and locates Betrayus through a parascope and picking up more ghosts as well including the Ghost Gang who sneakily pursue Betrayus. Inky tells his siblings to hurry into the cave so they don't lose them as Clyde briefly has a romantic time with a jellyfish before continuing. Betrayus and the butt twins then get eaten by a giant fish which deters Cyli as they were the only clue to PacLantis' actual location but Pac still persists and follows the bigger red fish to make it spit out the big green one to make it spit out Dr. Buttocks' sub and sends them crashing through a wall. Pac and Betrayus both find PacLantis (which has mazes in it much to Cyli's chagrin).

Sir C theorizes that the berry is at the center of the maze and instructs the trio to find it before Betrayus does. The trio find runes that read "No berry picking without a permit" which means they are close. They then find growing sea slugs so Pac turns into Titanium Pac but becomes too heavy to move in the water so Spiral and Cyli have to carry him away from the slugs as everyone struggles to find the berry. Pac swims into the Ghost Gang with the trio suspecting they were looking for the berry first to get their bodies back which they deny before they continue to follow Betrayus while Pac and his friends finally find the center of the maze but is heavily guarded by sharks that Pac thinks he can take on but promptly gets eaten by one. Pac tickles the shark with his tongue which causes it to laugh and have him swim out of its mouth, everyone then sees the berry bush and discuss what to do with the berry with each of their goals in mind. Betrayus then spots the Ghost Gang and causes them to all leave and gloats that he will only need one berry for his goal until Pac reminds him of the ghost sharks which Betrayus misinterprets as the sharks being ideal and he tries to talk to them but the sharks instead start attacking and bullying him inside of the bubble so Betrayus decides to use Dr. Buttocks as bait which gives Pac the opportunity to get a headstart towards the berry before everyone starts going after it. Inky fights Butt-ler who then bounces off of Clyde and then bumps into Pac, Clyde apologizes for his mistake until Dr. Buttocks comes back with a horde of sharks who starts attacking everyone. Pac then blocks a shark's attack with a rock and grabs it by the tail to swing it around and then throw it into Clyde which knocks the berry off the bush as everyone makes a mad dash to get it before fighting each other and the sharks which gives Betrayus the opportunity to get the berry for himself, only to not be able to due to him being trapped in the bubble. The berry gets eaten by a shark and turns it into a baby so Betrayus demands they take the bush as Dr. Buttocks and Pac fight over which causes PacLantis to start crumbling with everyone trying to flee but Pac eats Dr. Buttocks before he can escape and burps out his eyes which land on the baby shark and Betrayus berates him before he too tries to escape. The bush is immovable so Pac begrudgingly has to give up his task as PacLantis collapses in on itself as they all look on at the destroyed civilization. Spiral and Cyli return to the lab but Pac ends up in President Spheros' bathtub and Betrayus accidentally breaks his bubble and soaks himself. Sir C concludes PacLantis will reappear at another point but Pac is still sad as he doesn't know where his parents are still but gets hope after realizing the same symbol on the berry bush was in the picture and wonders if they also ate the youth berry.

This episode is based on the underwater legend, Atlantis.

Pac can somehow breathe underwater without the need of a berry in this episode.

This episode contradicts the Repository as it says that the berry of youth will bring back Betrayus' body even though all of the ghosts' bodies are sealed inside of the Repository
