Pretty Boy Pac is a character who only appears in the Pac-Man animated series episode "Public Pac-Enemy No. 1." He is a criminal with the same appearance as Pac-Man, who escapes to Pac-Man's house upon breaking out of Pacatraz.
History[]
In the episode, Pretty Boy escapes Pacatraz by burrowing out of his prison cell using metal dentures, and escaping via a boat. Upon arriving at Pac-Land, Pretty Boy opts to hide in Pac-Man's house, due to his similar appearance to Pac-Man himself. Upon entering through the window, Ms. Pac-Man takes notice of him, and mistakes him for her husband. She questions his hoarse voice, in which Pretty Boy claims it is because he has a cold, and when asked about his prison clothes, he claims he was in a play about prisoners and got the lead part.
After looking through Pac-Man's belongings, Chomp-Chomp, who had previously read a newspaper stating that Pretty Boy had escaped Pacatraz notices the criminal and starts chasing him around the house. After escaping Chomp-Chomp, Pretty Boy gets a phone call from the real Pac-Man, in which he taunts him with a ghost chomping riddle, claiming only the real Pac-Man would know it.
While witnessing a news broadcast on the television where they claim Pretty Boy Pac had already been captured, Sour Puss antagonizes Pretty Boy by dragging his metal ball and chain around the house with a magnet toy. He eventually escapes into the garage with the two pets repeatedly jumping up, snarling at him. After Pac-Baby innocently crawls up to him, and lets his ball and chain fall to the ground, the two pets maul Pretty Boy Pac, and he decides he would rather be back in the slammer.
At Pacatraz, Pac-Man is still trying to convince the guards that he is innocent until the real Pretty Boy Pac shows up, saying that Pac-Man is telling the truth, and begs to be put in prison again so he cannot be tormented by Pac-Man's pets anymore.
