Pac-Man Wiki

Spin Dizzy is the 14th level in Pac-Man World and its remake, Pac-Man World Re-Pac, as well as the 3rd level of the Haunted Funhouse Area.

This level is considered by many to be the most difficult level in the game. The level has many spinning platforms, more so than the previous two levels in the Haunted Funhouse, and at least twice, two checkpoints are located very far away from each other, making it very easy to lose many lives.

Baby Pac-Man is rescued at the end of the level.

This is the only level in the game to feature balloons that Pac-Man can step in; when stepped on, they will disappear after a few seconds, then respawn. Stormclouds found in Grave Danger function much like the balloons found in this level.

This level is absent in the GBA version.

Trivia[]

  • If Pac-Man takes the Pac-Dot chain that appears when the switch needed to activate the hammers is activated, for some reason, 5 of the Pac-Dots will not be calculated towards his total. He can avoid this by starting from the bottom and gradually eating all the Pac-Dots from there.
  • The switches used to activate the hammers near the Galaxian Door and the second set of spinning platforms immediately afterwards will stay activated, even after Pac-Man completes the level or exits before completing it.
  • The clown serving as the entrance to this level has a happy expression, in contrast to the expressionless clowns for Clowning Around and Barrel Blast, and the angry clown for Clown Prix.

Differences in the Japanese version[]

  • The checkpoint located on the Yellow Switch on the lone platform to the right of the Cherry Door with the "P" has been removed; conversely, a checkpoint has been added on the wedge-shaped platform with the chest containing the Lemon needed to open the Lemon Door with the "M". Both changes carry over to the remake.
  • The bumper car near the B-Doing to the right of the Galaxian Door is absent.
