Spooky's Castle is the last course in Watermelon Cup. It has many openings in the ground, and the shortcuts are hidden with rugs draping from the ceiling. It has 4 laps.

Pacman world rally spooky castle

Description[]

The race first starts with a long gap across an abyss and into the castle. The the racers will make a right turn into a hall where there are a couple of gaps (that also have Pac-Boxes hovering above them). Then, it's a 270 degree turn up a slope that leads into a room filled with knights. These knights will slam their axes down onto the race track, flattening any racers unfortunate enough to get hit by them. There is also another gap on the right the drivers have to look out for.

After the room with knights, it's another 270 degree turn up a slope. This time, the path goes straight across a bridge where an archer standing on top of a higher point of the castle shoots arrows down onto it. These arrows will spin out any racers hit by them. However, they can tell where the arrows will land by a flashing red target that shows a few seconds before the arrow hits the bridge.

Once making it past the bridge and the archer, the path takes another 270 degree turn, but this time, the slope aims downward, and towards a section with two gaps. The first gap is easy to clear, but the second one forces the racers to stay in the center, or at least near it, to get through a small opening in a piece of the castle. From here, the racers can see a dragon, whose tail periodically waves in between the first gap. If any racers hit the tail, they'll spin out, and most likely fall into the abyss below. After clearing the gaps, the racers will now go down another 270 degree slope. A gap is at the end of the slope on the right, with a Green Pac-Box hovering above it. Past the gap is a small straightaway through a hall, then a left turn into the next area.

The path splits in this room and meets up on the other side. No path is quicker than the other. This room also has a dragon sitting in between where the path splits. Once the racers get close enough, it'll spew fire onto one of the two paths. The side it will spew fire on is random, but the safest route to take would be the right side, as the dragon takes about a second to spew fire on the right path, allowing the racers to get past it before it does so. But it will immediately spew fire on the left path, so racers are more likely to spin out from the fire if they take the left path. After the two paths meet, it goes up a hill into the final area, the wizard's room.

Much like the room with the dragon, the paths split in this room, but each side now goes into a 360 degree turn, then meets up at the end. In this room, a wizard will be shooting spells from its wand onto the track a little ways in front of the part where the path spits, and alternating between the left and right. After making the 360 turn, the racers will jump into the wizard's cauldron, where a green warp zone takes them back to the forest, where the finish line is.

The picture seen in the weapon slot when getting Sir Pac-A-Lot

  • Spooky's Castle music was composed by Mike Rubino.
  • The "picture of Sir Pac-A-Lot" in Pac-Man World Rally actually resembles one of the knights found in Spooky's Castle rather than Sir Pac-A-Lot's actual appearance.
