The Steel Ball Power Up
The Chrome Power-Up (known as the Steel Ball Power-Up in Pac-Man World 2 and the Metal Dot in Pac-Man World Re-Pac) is a power-up Pac-Man can use in the Pac-Man World games. It is a silver-colored ball that makes Pac-Man impervious to damage and grants him the ability to walk underwater, allowing him to open chests underwater and defeat underwater enemies.
Pac-Man World Re-Pac introduces metal variations of enemies that can only be defeated with a Metal Dot. In his boss fight, Toc-Man eats a Metal Dot, making him invincible to Pac-Man's attacks unless he also consumes a Metal Dot.

- The Chrome Power-Up is extremely similar and in fact functions almost identically to the Metal Cap from Super Mario 64; both power-ups make the player impervious to damage and allow them to sink and walk underwater.
