The Pac Be With You

The Pac Be With You is the ninth episode of Season 2 of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. It aired on June 30, 2014.

Episode Plot[]

"When the ultimate super ninja ghost trains Betrayus’ army, Pac has to learn a new fighting technique...from Blinky...?"

Pac and Cylindria are playing hover basketball against Skeebo until all of a sudden a ghost shows up and promptly defeats Pac. The ghost introduces himself as Master Goo who states that he was sent by Lord Betrayus to defeat Pac before he shows him the force of "Pac Fu" by dunking him again. Master Goo makes quick business of Spiral and Cyli before resuming his fight against Pac who uses a power berry to get the Pac Fu to fight back against him, although he lacks the expertise still and promptly gets defeated yet again. Master Goo tells that there is nothing worth fighting for but he will meet Pac again before he leaves.

In the Netherworld, Betrayus watches clips of the fight on his TV, laughing at how easily he beat Pac but requests him to get a singular power berry so they can grow an entire tree they can harvest where Master Goo says that Pac is no much for Pac-Fu. It then cuts to Spiral telling Sir Cumference and Grinder on the latest opponent and his Pac Fu which scares Sir C. into Grinder's arms before telling everyone the past of Pac Fu and how it was used for self defense and to defend against evil until during the great war. One of the masters discovered the sinister nether side to Pac Fu with no one knowing the end result of the fight as they had all vanished while also revealing that Pac's parents were Pac Fu masters as well. Both of his parents were in the highest rank of Pac Fu (or maybe not). It then cuts to the Netherworld where a bunch of ghosts are training to learn Pac Fu until it cuts to the Ghost Gang where Blinky refuses to join because he doesn't want to hurt the Pac-Worlders as it goes against the entire meaning of Pac Fu alongside the fact the ghost army using the more dangerous nether side version instead. The Ghost Gang watch over the ninja army with Blinky taking particular offense to seeing Pac Fu get misused in such a manner. It then cuts to the Ghost Gang warning Pac, Cyli and Spiral on Betrayus' plan and how they can't train due to no one in Pac-World knowing it until it is revealed that Grinder was programmed to know Pac Fu to mostly successful results. Pac and his friends think they know all the techniques for Pac Fu but Blinky beats all of them with little effort where he then reveals he was a Pac Fu master before he died. Everyone wants to know Pac Fu proper but Blinky hesitates to do the dedication it takes before he decides to do it for the sake of Pac-World.

He then takes everyone to a dojo where they all meditate until he stops Inky and Pinky from arguing with each other. He then tries to help everyone find their balance but Pac loses his balance and starts to bounce around the dojo like a pinball as a result. Inky and Pinky start arguing again, get slimed again and Pac fails to hit the volley ball which ends up hitting him and causing him to roll into everyone. Blinky tells Pac to use his roundness to his advantage in some manner he does not know. It then cuts to a montage of everyone training the ways of Pac Fu with Pac failing every time.

All of a sudden it cuts to Pacopolis being infested with ninja ghosts with an army powerless to stop them before they break into the Round House to kidnap President Spheros so Betrayus can finally take over Pacopolis, find the repository and Tree of Life. Back at the dojo, everyone has learned the ways of Pac Fu besides Pac who is still struggling until all of a sudden, Sir C. calls to inform everyone the state of Pacopolis which causes Blinky to skip to the last step of believing yourself, much to the confusion of everyone and to the frustration of Pac. They arrive at the slimed Pacopolis where they are swarmed by ghosts that they then proceed to fight off with Pac Fu, much to the ire of Betrayus who demands Master Goo to head off and fight Pac and his team by himself. Betrayus then sees the Ghost Gang slacking off on a slug cam and orders them to attack the Pac-People to which they play dumb, knock out two ninja ghosts and mercilessly beat up Butt-ler and Dr. Buttocks.

Master Goo shows up to take care of Pac and his friends once and for all where he is surprised to find out that Pac has managed to attain some great knowledge with Pac Fu before throwing everyone into some bushes which prompts Blinky to remind Pac to use his roundness. This inspires Pac to bounce around and into Master Goo to disorient him, stun him via licking him with shadow clones before finishing the job by eating him. Blinky accepts humility with his help before leaving to retain his reputation as a bad ghost before Pac slurps up the mess. The episode then ends with Betrayus mocking Master Goo before kicking him to the Regeneration Chamber.
