Whale on a Sub is the fifth boss level, and and 21st level overall, in Pac-Man World 2 and its remake, Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac. The four Ghosts have built a gigantic, whale-like submarine known as the Megawhale, which launches mines and shark subs from its rear end. Pac-Man must defeat the Megawhale by firing torpedoes at its propellers (or their supports). If the player gets too high, the boss will fire its cannon. At its last hit, the mines will be larger.

• In later revisions (?) of the game, Whale on a Sub is given a title card for its loading screen, similarly to the standard, non-boss levels. Earlier copies do not appear to feature this screen.
