Pac-Man Wiki

Not to be confused with World's Largest Pac-Man.

World's Biggest Pac-Man is a web browser game in the Pac-Man series. It was developed by Soap Creative and was released to the public on April 13, 2011. The game allows users to play and create custom Pac-Man mazes.

Though still playable, the game no longer allows mazes to be created. This game was was indirectly followed up by Pac-Man Community, a game inside of Facebook Gaming.

Gameplay[]

This game lets players browse and create their own Pac-Man mazes. When playing, it largely follows the same rules as the original Pac-Man: Pac-Man must eat all the dots inside a maze in order to complete it, while avoiding the ghosts (Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde). Eating a Power Pellet lets Pac-Man eat the ghosts for a short period of time. The player starts out with three lives, and the game ends when Pac-Man loses all his lives. An extra life is awarded every 10,000 points.

Entering a tunnel located at the top, bottom, left and right sides of the maze allows Pac-Man to exit the current maze and enter a new one, as connected on the Maze Browser. Going back to the same tunnel lets Pac-Man return to the maze. Exiting a maze freezes the ghosts' current positions and saves the Pac-Dots eaten. As the player completes mazes, the bonus fruits change, awarding more points. The speed of the ghosts also begin increasing, and the durability of the Power Pellets weaken.

Maze Browsing[]

Browsing was done by use the navigation windows to change the view.

Maze Creation & Placement[]

Players that were logged into Facebook could create mazes and connect them near existing mazes. A maze cannot be created in a blank space. The user is given a one hour time limit in order to create a maze. The user is able to freely place walls, Pac-Dots and blank spaces with the Pencil and Eraser. The maze must be completed in order to publish it.

Trivia[]

  • The website was briefly taken down some time around June of 2022. It was initially believed the game was intentionally shut down; however, the website was put back online in August of 2022, indicating it was likely just down in error.
