Wreck-It Ralph is a CGI film by Walt Disney Pictures, released in theaters on November 2nd, 2012. It features several cameos of characters from the Pac-Man series.
Connections to the Pac-Man series[]
Clyde, Pac-Man, Blinky, Inky, and Pinky are shown to have appearances throughout the film. Clyde has a prominent role as the leader of the Bad-Anon therapy session that Ralph attends. Blinky, Pinky, and Inky make several cameos in the scenes set in Game Central Station, and Pac-Man appears at Fix-It Felix Jr.'s 30th Anniversary party.
Trivia[]
- Although Clyde uses his correct name in the first Wreck-It Ralph film, he is erroneously referred to as Blinky in the closed captions.
- A mobile crossover game with Ralph and Pac-Man titled Pac-Man: Ralph Breaks the Maze was released in 2018.
- Wreck-It Ralph's sequel, Ralph Breaks the Internet, features several brief Pac-Man cameos in the scenes set in Game Central Station. Ms. Pac-Man and Baby Pac-Man also receive dialogue mentions by Ralph in the opening scene.
