Yellow Pac-Marine is the third Ocean level, and the 20th level overall, in Pac-Man World 2 and its remake, Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac. In this stage, Pac-Man pilots a submarine and shoots down enemy Ghosts.

Gameplay[]

Pac-Man is traveling through a vast, empty sea lined with enemy Ghost Subs, pipes, and mines. Along the way, the player will encounter two power-ups: The gun and the Smart Bomb. The guns provide Pac-Man extra firepower. Should Pac-Man get hit, he will lose the power-up. The Smart Bomb destroying everything, except pipes, on the screen. It can only be used once.

Collectibles[]

Due to how the Yellow Pac-Marine level operates, the collectibles are obtained differently than in other stages. The objects are placed in effectively random locations across the level, though are consistent in what types of locations they appear:

  • Cherries are usually found in or near mines.
  • Oranges are found in destroyed Ghost Subs.
  • Apples can be found in two locations: appearing to the left of a vertical pipe after the first checkpoint, and to the right of horizontal pipe after the second checkpoint.
  • Tokens can appear across multiple types of terrain.

Trivia[]

  • The stage's name is a reference to The Beatles' hit song "Yellow Submarine", released in 1966.
  • This is the only level where Pac-Dots aren't found.
  • Although the level, according to the map, has 20 Cherries, it is possible to get more than 20, making this the only level where the player can get more than 100%.
  • This is one of four levels (excluding bosses) that do not have a Galaxian Maze; the others are Pac-Village, The Bear Basics, and Night Crawling.
